  • If You're Choosing This, How Can You Make it Better?
    Jan 15 2025

What do you do when you’re faced with something in your life that feels overwhelming, painful, or downright miserable?

In this episode I share a recent experience with a client navigating a tough situation, and how we moved from frustration to a place of empowerment and creativity.

    Reflection Questions from the Episode:

    1. What’s one challenging or miserable thing in your life that you’re choosing to keep?
    2. How might you tweak it to make it better, easier, or even enjoyable?
    3. What’s one small change you could make this week to start shifting your mindset or approach?

  • How Are You Feeling?
    Jan 8 2025

So, my friend, how are you feeling right now?

Whatever it is - good, bad, or somewhere in between - just take a moment to notice. No judgment. No rush to fix it. Just an honest check-in.

Because when you slow down to truly listen, you’re not just noticing how you feel - you’re building a relationship with yourself moving forward.

  • What Are You Anticipating for the New Year?
    Jan 1 2025

Happy New Year! This week we’re diving into a question from one of my clients:

"Is it possible to feel the Sunday Scaries in regards to an entire year?"

And I think the answer is yes, especially if you're anticipating change in the future. But you don’t have to stay stuck there.

Here are some ways to check in with yourself:

    • Acknowledge how you’re feeling.
    • Give it a story.
    • Ask if it makes sense and if it’s helpful.
    • Create space for yourself to feel those emotions with compassion.

You’ve got options for supporting yourself as you move into this new year, no matter what it holds.

  • If Not Now, When?
    Dec 25 2024

As we close out 2024, I want to share a powerful question that actress Jamie Lee Curtis lives by: "If not now, when?"

This question holds so much wisdom for all of us. It can lead us to monumental changes, or show up in the smaller, everyday moments that shape our lives.

Commit right now to making 2025 the year you go for it…even if you don’t feel ready.

Because here’s the truth: You might never feel fully ready. But you can start anyway.

  • Close the Loops: Simple Actions to Ease Overwhelm
    Dec 11 2024

In this episode, I share a simple yet powerful suggestion I recently gave to one of my clients who was feeling stressed: close the loops you can. When life feels overwhelming, it’s not always about finding a huge, life-changing solution. Instead, it’s about identifying those small, lingering tasks that are within your control, and taking action on them.

    We’ll explore:

    • How “open loops” can amplify stress.
    • How closing even one or two loops can free up mental space.
    • Practical examples of what this could look like in your life, from deciding on a gift to delaying a decision until you have more capacity.

Big stress doesn’t always need a big solution—sometimes, it’s the small things that create the most relief.

Take a few minutes today to identify and close 3-5 loops in your life and close them. It’s a simple step you can take to create more breathing room in your mind and ease the overwhelm.

  • What If This Was an Invitation, Not a Threat?
    Dec 4 2024

Today, I want to share a mindset shift that has been incredibly impactful for both me and my coaching clients: What if this was an invitation and not a threat?

Inspired by insights from Martha Beck's The Way of Integrity, I’ll share how this mindset shift can help you open up in areas where you may be shutting down.

When we can reframe threats as invitations, we create space to question if those things are really threats in the first place. And from that point of view, we can grow and align more fully with our values. And that’s where the magic happens.
