  • On a Break Until March 6th
    Feb 19 2025

I just wanted to drop in and let you know that the podcast will be on a short break this week and next. But don’t worry - I’ll be back on Thursday, March 6th with something exciting!

I’m rebranding the podcast. So there will be a new name and new artwork, but you can still expect the same core themes I've been talking about on the show. It’s a little refresh I've been thinking about for a while and now's the time.

So if in two weeks you see a podcast in your feed and think, Wait… what is this? It’s still me! Just with a new podcast name and artwork.

Enjoy the next couple of weeks and I'll see you in March!

  • How to Make Risk Feel Safer Using the Peltzman Effect
    Feb 12 2025

Ever feel like something is too risky, even when you’ve taken all the right precautions? Or maybe you hesitate to take a leap because it still feels uncertain?

Today, we’re diving into the Peltzman Effect, a concept that explains how our perception of risk changes when safety measures are in place—and how we can actually use this to our advantage.

  • Feeling Aligned with Your Work
    Feb 5 2025

Have you ever had a job that should feel amazing, but something still feels off? Maybe it checks all the right boxes, yet deep down, you’re unfulfilled. In this episode, we’re exploring why some jobs look great on paper but don’t align with who we are.

I’ll share a client’s story about transitioning to a job that seemed perfect but left her feeling disconnected and how she uncovered what was missing. I also talk about why gratitude can’t override misalignment, the fears that keep us from speaking up, and how you can start identifying the kind of work that truly lights you up.

If something feels off for you right now, I encourage you to take a step back and ask:

    • What parts of me feel most alive when I express them?
    • Am I actually expressing them in my work?
    • And if not, what would it look like to start?

Ready to feel more aligned but need support?

  • Maybe You Never Learned to Dream
    Jan 29 2025

Today’s episode is all about dreaming big, and why it can be so challenging for some people to imagine a different way of living or working.

For many of the women I coach, dreaming outside the framework they’ve followed for years can feel foreign. If you’ve spent most of your life checking boxes and following a well-laid-out path, the question, “What do I really want?” might not come naturally.

But this doesn't mean that you lack creativity and are unable to dream. I truly think that dreaming big is a skill, and like any skill, you can strengthen it with practice!

Questions to help you practice dreaming bigger

    • Who inspires me, and what about their life or choices resonates with me?
    • What would it look like to live a life that’s 1% bigger?
    • What is one thing I’ve always been curious about but never pursued?
    • If I could spend a day doing anything I wanted, no matter how impractical, what would it be?
    • What’s a place I’ve always wanted to visit or live, and what about it excites me?
    • What is one small, joyful thing I could do this week that would feel adventurous or new?
    • When was the last time I felt truly alive and excited? What was I doing?
    • What’s something I’ve told myself I can’t do but secretly want to try?
    • What values do I want to align my life with more closely?
    • What’s something I’d regret not trying if I reached the end of my life?

Ready to dream bigger, but want some help?

  • If You're Choosing This, How Can You Make it Better?
    Jan 15 2025

What do you do when you’re faced with something in your life that feels overwhelming, painful, or downright miserable?

In this episode I share a recent experience with a client navigating a tough situation, and how we moved from frustration to a place of empowerment and creativity.

    Reflection Questions from the Episode:

    1. What’s one challenging or miserable thing in your life that you’re choosing to keep?
    2. How might you tweak it to make it better, easier, or even enjoyable?
    3. What’s one small change you could make this week to start shifting your mindset or approach?

  • How Are You Feeling?
    Jan 8 2025

So, my friend, how are you feeling right now?

Whatever it is - good, bad, or somewhere in between - just take a moment to notice. No judgment. No rush to fix it. Just an honest check-in.

Because when you slow down to truly listen, you’re not just noticing how you feel - you’re building a relationship with yourself moving forward.

  • What Are You Anticipating for the New Year?
    Jan 1 2025

Happy New Year! This week we’re diving into a question from one of my clients:

"Is it possible to feel the Sunday Scaries in regards to an entire year?"

And I think the answer is yes, especially if you're anticipating change in the future. But you don’t have to stay stuck there.

Here are some ways to check in with yourself:

    • Acknowledge how you’re feeling.
    • Give it a story.
    • Ask if it makes sense and if it’s helpful.
    • Create space for yourself to feel those emotions with compassion.

You’ve got options for supporting yourself as you move into this new year, no matter what it holds.
