  • Ella Borg is a rising star in the Melbourne art scene. They touch all corners of our community through dynamic and refreshing work - often pulling on personal and sensory experience.
With a portfolio that constantly diversifying, Ella has championed using the tools at hand and creating something that is unique to themselves. Now, a highly sought after creator, they juggle their time between designing, photographing, merchandising, video editing, and public relations - just to name a few. Spinning many plates, Ella has found themselves collaborating with some of the most unique brands and artists across Australia, with the most recent collaboration being with POSMO (a sex toy concept store inspired by queer theory) to create a series of prints. Ella discusses how the ‘untitled’ series was set to explore the link between gender indentity and sexual identity with neurodivergent individuals.

Across their instagram you’ll find plenty of process videos and imagery, Ella calls out that they draw a lot of inspiration from digital platforms used and always want to make the most of the tools on hand. This results in a unique and very internet inspired aesthetic - one they link back to find their identity through internet culture.

Ella dropped into the studio to chat about coming out via the internet, the superpowers of being a neurodivergent artist, and how to value yourself as an up and coming artist.
