Onyango Otieno is a Kenyan Poet and Child Trauma Therapist. The detail he goes into regarding his own physical/sexual abuse is harrowing. A must watch for us all. The forgiveness and freedom Onyango displays from his abusers is a beautiful sight. We were truly honoured to be given this time and space for him to disclose his darkest moments...  We hope and pray you find this encouraging to receive therapy from any trauma in your childhood. We also want to ensure we never see such abuse occur in our communities!

WOW! What a fun and inspiring chat this was! Cracked, (Scott), is a Canadian, full time gamer. He start his venture online during the first lockdown. Don't be deceived, this was never easy for him to breakthrough in following his dreams!  Due to the stiff natured industry competition, Cracked has received lots of online hate, (due to his banter/nature). This insight was harrowing, BUT he never let this stop him!  This guy was able to turn it on with going deep about; masculinity, helping save a mate with his suicidal attempts, dealing with abuse/hate, seeking help in a confidant, and FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS!

We spoken to a very passionate man indeed! Deacon has stated that gaming and the community itself have saved his life! We were 100% engaged in this podcast chat. Both Rory and Deacon spoke with total truth and passion.  Deacon also had a scary encounter when there was a Terror attack in London at the bridge. This severally impacted Deacon's mental health.  Things have to change when it comes to how society treats men and supports their mental health.

Enlighten The Shadows are a men's mental health support group that are based in Nottingham, UK. It was founded by Rory Green during the first COVID lockdown of 2020. Despite the loss of his baby, step sister to suicide, and waiting for work to start, he set up ETS as a YouTube Channel.  Within a year, the lads have produced a video with all of our achievements and information for you to explore in this short documentary video.

Ian Deakin is a former professional footballer, most notably playing for Mansfield Town FC. 'Deaks,' currently manages Long Eaton United in winning back to back promotions in the 21/22 and 22/23 seasons into . On the side, Deaks helps out at Mansfield Town FC's Youth development. Lee balances this all in between his full time job. Deaks lives in Nottingham, UK with his partner and two kids. He is a top role model for the men of today and the men of the next generation!

Rich Smith is a registered Learning Disability Nurse, who lives in Nottingham, UK. He has suffered many setbacks in losing his brother and father in his childhood, as well as his mother being diagnosed with cancer. Rich has learned to not doubt himself despite suffering with dyslexia, he graduated from Nottingham University and managed multiple promotions in a short time frame.
