Monique shares her experience of a near fatal stroke in 2013. An ischemic stroke, 2cm infract in the right pons area of her brain. She talks about the post stroke symptoms, some of which included paralysis, incontinence, speech and balance issues and the poor recovery prognosis she was given. She shares how her eventual full recovery was mainly due to the application of functional and lifestyle medicine and wellness.
