  • In Episode 67 I was honoured to be joined by relative newcocomer to archery, Maddie Hammond. Maddie is a personal trainer from London who is relatively new to archery, onlhy taking the sport up after lockdown but in those intervening 3 and a half years, Maddie has achieved so much, immersing herself in the trad life and gaining an incredible knowledge of both bow and arrow tuning and mastering not only the physical side of shooting a bow, but also the mental mastery of controlled process shooting. In a conversation that lasted over 4 hours we discussed everything from archery to hiking, nightclubs, a little politics, differing customer service levels in the archery world between the USA and the UK, her shooting with Joel Turner of Shot IQ & meeting Tom Clum Sr. on her recent trip to shoot the Eastern Traditional Archery Rendezvous (ETAR) in the States, aswell as her appearance as a guest on Episode 288 of The Push Traditional Archrey Podcast (one of the archery world's biggest podcasts.
