We are joined by Annie Smith, founder of Hashtag Fly, a non-profit that helps traumatized women see their innate worth. She shares the powerful impact one person's heartfelt challenge to find herself has made for herself and so many other women. Beginning to believe in ourselves allows us to begin healing from trauma and trials. Learn how we can see ourselves with the strength, light, and talents others see in us. Take time to recognize and re-frame the distortion in the way we see ourselves to live freely. Treasures are found in going through struggles and others benefit from your wisdom and the lessons you've learned. How can you bless others with your divine and unique skill sets?

  • Supporting with Strength
    Mar 31 2020

Jeremy Smith joins Mark to explore life living as the spouse of someone who has been abused and the special accommodations it can mean for a relationship. Whether the abuse has been physical, emotional, or of any kind, it's effects are widespread and tragically not limited by age or gender. Those sharing lives with others that have been previously abused hold a special responsibility and calling to support with love but it can often be hard to navigate the relationship around past experiences. Difficulties often arise in knowing how to act or not act when living with someone who has survived abuse and trauma and professionals are a wonderful resource. It's a journey together that requires faith, humility, sensitivity, and patience. Recognize the triggers, Respect the process, and Remember recovery is possible.
