  • 56: Lessons from January: Being vs Doing
    Feb 20 2025

January was meant to be a fresh start, but instead, it became a lesson in resilience, stillness, and surrender. In this episode, I share how a month filled with sickness and injury forced me to confront my deep attachment to movement and productivity. When I couldn't work out at my usual 11 AM, chaos set in—not just in my schedule but in my emotions. I felt sadness, despair, and even hints of depression, realizing how much I rely on movement to feel fulfilled. Inspired by Eckhart Tolle's wisdom on being vs. doing, I question whether I am worthy without constant action and whether I can find peace even in forced stillness.

This journey also led me to reflect on Sarah Blondin’s Befriending Your Natural Cycles: Recognize Life’s Rhythms, which reminds us that life moves in cycles—we are not meant to bloom endlessly without rest. Just as trees shed their leaves in winter, we too must embrace the quiet, unseen phases of growth. Yet, we’ve become so afraid of non-doing that we resist the very stillness that could nourish us. If we’re always producing, always striving, we lose touch with the deeper rhythm of life and the wisdom it offers. This episode is an invitation to honor both movement and rest, learning to trust the natural ebb and flow of our existence.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to join me in The Connection Code, my February content plan designed to help you create deeper alignment in your life. We’ll explore how to balance ambition with rest, cultivate mindful presence, and connect with yourself in a more meaningful way. Let’s move with intention—not just for the sake of doing, but for the sake of truly being. Stay tuned for more details!

Access the Free Connection Code Workshop here:

By the end of this journey, you’ll:
✅ Feel lighter and less overwhelmed because you’re no longer pushing against life’s natural flow.
✅ Experience more energy and creativity by allowing yourself to rest and recharge without guilt.
✅ Trust yourself more deeply, making decisions from a place of clarity instead of pressure.
✅ Find joy in the present moment instead of constantly chasing the next achievement.
✅ Move through your days with more ease, confidence, and a deep sense of inner peace.

This isn’t about doing less—it’s about doing what truly matters in a way that feels good. Ready to join us? Stay tuned for details on to sign up! 💫

  • 55: Dancing Through Grief: Motherhood, Loss & DC Hula Girls
    Feb 10 2025

How do you keep moving forward when your heart is shattered? In this episode, I sit down with my dear friend Lydia for one of the most vulnerable and heartfelt conversations I’ve ever had on this podcast. She opens up about the pain of losing two babies, navigating high-risk pregnancies, and the strength it takes to keep going when life doesn’t go as planned.

But Lydia’s story isn’t just about grief—it’s also about love, resilience, and finding joy again. We talk about how she’s created a space to celebrate her Pacific Island heritage on the East Coast through DC Hula Girls, a passion project that keeps her culture alive in a place where the community is small but deeply connected.

This conversation is raw, real, and filled with so much heart. If you’ve ever struggled with loss, motherhood, or finding yourself again after life knocks you down, this one is for you. ❤️
