This year, I’m diving deeper into all things messaging—helping you refine your message, making sure it hits home for the right people, and showing you practical ways to get more resonant and effective. This episode is all about understanding your client journey—not just their experience within your business, but their bigger journey in your area of expertise—and using that in your messaging.

In this episode, I’m going to walk you through how to make sure your messaging meets people exactly where they are, so your services feel like the logical next step for them.

Who Are You Talking To—And When?

We’ve all heard the classic advice: if you try to speak to everyone, you end up resonating with no one. It’s usually thrown around when talking about niching, and for good reason! To create a message that lands, you need to know exactly who it’s for.

But here’s something most business owners miss—the focus ends up almost entirely on demographics or goals. Yes, it’s great to know what your client wants to achieve or their age bracket, but let’s take it one level deeper.

Let’s think about their journey. Not just, “Who are you helping?” but, “Where are they in their journey when you help?”

  • #507: Niching as a personal brand: The uncomfortable conversation - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Niching as a Personal Brand: The Uncomfortable Conversation

Let’s talk about a topic that’s pivotal for heart-centred entrepreneurs, but often gets swept under the rug because, honestly, it feels awkward. I want to have an honest conversation with you about niching—especially if you run a personal brand.

I’m going to be upfront: recording this episode makes me noticeably uncomfortable! The “niching conversation” comes up for me every single week, and I’ve always preferred to have it privately, one-on-one, where I can tailor my approach to the person in front of me. But right now, my job is to help you, so I’m gathering my bravery and putting it out there.

First, What Does “Niching” Even Mean?

Some marketing approaches will tell you your niche is just your topic area: relationships, fitness, parenting... I don’t see it that way. For me, and for the purpose of this episode, niching is about WHO you are focused on reaching and speaking to with your marketing. It’s about the specific person you're writing for, the avatar of your ideal client, or that narrow group who most needs your work.

It’s not about “what” you do, or your modality (like kinesiology or EFT), or simply helping “anyone who wants kinesiology.” That’s not niching. I want you to get specific about who your marketing is actually trying to reach.

  • #506: Are you resourced enough to sell low-ticket offers? - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast
    Feb 8 2026

Are You Resourced Enough to Sell Low-Ticket Offers?

In this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to answer a question I hear from business owners all the time: are you actually resourced enough to sell low-ticket offers? If you’re in the early stages of business or thinking about adding those lovely little price-point products to your list, this conversation is for you.

So many people are drawn to the idea of selling something for $50 or $100—it feels accessible and maybe even passive! But there’s a lot that goes into making this work, and I’m going to walk you through it—all based on a very real, very recent conversation with someone just like you.

Why Are So Many People Tempted by Low-Ticket Offers?

Over the past few months, I've had a heap of conversations with business owners in my programs, with my VIP clients, and all through DMs and comments. There’s a recurring theme: “What do you think about low-ticket offers, Tash?” Truthfully, I believe any strategy can work if you’re attached to it and willing to make it happen. But there’s a catch—whether or not you have the resources to actually pull it off.

Resources aren’t just about how much money you can invest, it’s also the time and energy you’ve got to give, your existing audience, and the strategies you’re using to get visible. For a lot of folks, especially those just starting out, there are simple, juicy ways to set yourself up—and sometimes, trying to force quick profits out of low-ticket offers puts you in a tough spot.

  • #505: How to sell to friends without it being awkward - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast
    Feb 1 2026

How to Sell to Friends Without It Being Awkward

If you glanced at the episode title before clicking in, you probably felt a bit of awkwardness. Trust me, you’re not alone! On this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I’m diving deep into how to sell to friends – and doing it without all the weird, uncomfortable vibes.

We’ve all been there: maybe someone hit you up with an awkward sales pitch for their network marketing or MLM business, and you wished they hadn’t. The idea of selling to friends stirs up memories of those uncomfortable moments. So when you’re told that your first sales will likely come from your own network, how do you make that happen without crossing boundaries or turning into “that person”? Lucky for you, that’s exactly what we’re covering today – and I’ve also got a special offer to help with those first sales!

Why Sales Always Felt Awkward to Me

Let me be real with you – sales conversations used to make me straight up uncomfortable. Whenever I felt like I was “selling at” someone, or pitching to a friend without knowing how they’d receive it, my body would literally react. I used to get a red rash that started in my cleavage and spread all the way up my neck and face during early sales calls, especially those first few months in business. It was so distracting – I was on video calls, watching this rash go wild, all because I was so uncomfortable with sales. It’s funny now, but back then, it was mortifying.

You might think I’ve always been comfortable selling, but the truth is, it's been a learning curve. I still get those awkward feelings, but over time, I’ve designed my own strategy to keep the discomfort at bay.

  • #504: Online marketing for extraverts - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast
    Jan 25 2026

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/504

    Online Marketing for Extraverts

Even though I’m always open about the fact that I’m an extravert, I know most of my podcasts aim to reassure and support the introverts in my audience. I’m all about inclusion, and I want everyone to feel seen, especially since a lot of the online business space is built with introverts in mind. But in this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to speak directly to my fellow extraverts. I don’t think people realise just how hard working online can be for us – especially when connection is what gives us energy.

If being around people is your number one battery charger, suddenly working alone from home can be so draining. That’s what I want to talk about today: how extraverts can thrive in online marketing, even when most of the advice out there comes from introverts – and often, for introverts.

Why Most Online Business Advice Is Made for Introverts

I’ve noticed something: so many of the most well-known online business owners are happy, successful introverts. In Australia, we have Denise Duffield-Thomas, Leonie Dawson, Tina Tower, Emily Osmond, and Julie Parker – all introverts. In the US, there’s Rachel Rodgers, Marie Forleo, Amy Porterfield. Honestly, it’s hard to think of extraverted women who are prolific in the online space.

A lot of times, people are surprised to find out that folks like Denise are actually introverts because they’re such prolific content creators. But the truth is, the structure of online business – where you can create content from your couch and connect with people digitally – tends to be much more introvert-friendly. You don’t have to be “on” with a crowd of people all day; interaction can be curated and limited.

Because of this, it’s easy for extraverts to accidentally build their businesses in an introvert-friendly way, simply because that’s what’s being modeled for them. Suddenly, you realise you’re isolated, feeling low on energy, and missing that face-to-face contact.

  • #503: Top-down vs bottom-up marketing strategy - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast
    Jan 18 2026

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/503

    Top-down vs Bottom-up Marketing Strategy

There are so many ways to grow a business online, and with all the advice flying around, it’s easy to get lost in strategy-hopping and trying a bit of everything. In today’s episode, I’m diving into something that doesn’t get talked about enough: the difference between top-down and bottom-up marketing strategy. If you’ve never considered these two fundamental approaches—or you’re not sure which one is right for you—this chat will help you figure out how to build a business that feels good and gets momentum.

Why Picking a Marketing Approach Matters

It’s totally normal to experiment with different strategies when you’re building a business. But if you’re constantly half-committed to lots of different things, none of them gets the time and energy it needs to work. You end up juggling audience building, offer-creating, social media, and wondering why nothing is really working. Your strategy needs legs—it should feel exciting and fit with your goals, your energy, and your lifestyle.

Honestly, any marketing strategy can work. I love tinkering with business models and strategies and have been obsessed with this stuff since I was young. University, consulting, working with thousands of entrepreneurs—trust me, you can make most strategies work, but only if you really commit and finesse the path.

But, there are two big-picture methods you need to choose between: top-down and bottom-up strategy. Each comes with its pros, cons, and is a better fit depending on your resources and your goals.

  • #502: Make your marketing strategy work for you - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast
    Jan 11 2026

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/502

Make Your Marketing Strategy Work for You

One of the things I absolutely love about my business is the huge variety of people I get to meet. So many different personalities, business strategies, niches, and ways of showing up. Everyone has their own perspective on service and the gap they want to fill. It’s why it’s so frustrating to see people stuck on doing their marketing the same way as everyone else, and struggling to make their marketing strategy work for them.

The truth is: your choice of marketing strategy needs to be as unique as you are. So, in today’s episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, we’re diving into how you can make marketing actually fit YOU — because business gets really fun when your strategy is designed around who you are.

Learning From Others… But Making it Your Own

I’ve learned so much from other people, and there are a ton of smart business owners in the world. People have come up with all sorts of creative ways to grow audiences, nurture leads, and make sales. There are even businesses and services out there I didn’t know existed — solutions to problems I hadn’t thought of.

But every strategy, model, and tip I hear has to pass through a filter: is this a good fit for me? Not just for my business, but for me as a human. I think this is the piece that’s missing for a lot of people in business. We’re so quick to adopt what someone else is doing, but rarely stop to ask, “Will this actually work for me?”
