  • Richie Wilson (Operations Manager at Fit To Recover) joins Casey Scott and Dr. Matt Woolley to talk about growing up having a great childhood but struggling to express the anxiety he was experiencing during high school and how an injury at 16 years old introduced him to opioids that he says immediately took his anxiety away and led him down a road of abusing substances daily.

    Then Richie opens up about going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, how a car accident during his mission led him to abuse pain pills, and his descent into hard drugs immediately after coming home from his mission.

    Richie also talks about trying to find success in recovery after spending multiple bouts in recovery centers, his introduction to Fit To Recover, and FTR’s upcoming 5K for recovery on June 15th, 2024, at 8 am.
