  • Be Strong and Courageous - The Power of 'The Path': Overcoming the Fear of Failure, Part 2
    Jan 21 2025

Are you tired of feeling inadequate or fearing that you might disappoint others? Join Chip in this inspiring program, where he will empower you to face your fear of failure head-on. Learn to release the unrealistic expectations weighing you down, and discover how to step into the vibrant and joy-filled life God has planned for you.

Main Points Three times God says, “Be strong and courageous”:
    1. God makes a promise that His people will inherit the land. – A promised future
    2. God gives Joshua the resource that will give him power. – The Book of the Law
    3. God says, “I will be with you.” – My presence
    Two ways/paths to live:
    1. God's way. --Psalm 1:1-3
    2. The world's way. --Psalm 1:4-6
Verse 1: How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers!

    Three negatives in verse 1:

    1. This person doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked.
    2. This person doesn’t stand in the path of sinners. --Proverbs 13:20
    3. This person does not sit in the seat of scoffers.
Verse 2: “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.”
    • Bible reading: Though it may start as a duty, with help and discipline, it becomes a delight as you learn.
    • Meditation: To engraft truth into your heart and life so you begin to think God's thoughts and look at the world through His perspective, seeing fears and challenges in light of His promises and presence.
Verse 3: He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.
    • In a world where people are trying to overcome their fear, I will choose to thrive.
    • God assures that following His path will produce a life of blessings and success over time.
Verses 4-6: The wicked are not so, but they are like chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
    • The wicked, like worthless chaff separated from wheat, will be blown away and rejected in judgment.
    • God, the all-knowing creator, promises to shepherd those who reject the world's messages and say "yes" to Him through His Word, guiding them through mistakes as they seek a righteous life.

  • A Conversation with Jennie Allen - Next Gen. Leader Launches Global Movement
    Jan 17 2025

When you hear the word revival, you might think of the spiritual movements from the past, like the Great Awakening. But next in this program, you will discover how God still works that way today. Join Chip and author Jennie Allen as they discuss her passion for uniting the global church to reach the lost and what you can do to make a difference.

    Main Points Key Takeaways:
    • The vision of Gather25: A 25-hour global event uniting Christians worldwide in prayer, worship, repentance, and sharing stories of God's work.
    • The urgency of the Great Commission: With billions still unreached with the gospel, the Church needs to unite and work together to fulfill Christ's command.
    • The importance of personal spiritual health: Before we can effectively impact the world for Christ, we need to address our own spiritual needs and walk in freedom.
    • The power of confession: Confessing our sins and struggles to God and trusted others breaks the enemy's power and leads to healing and wholeness.
    Highlights:
    • Jennie's journey from IF:Gathering to the birth of Gather25, inspired by a dream and a desire to mobilize the global Church.
    • The importance of unity and collaboration among Christians despite differing viewpoints on secondary issues.
    • The need for urgency in fulfilling the Great Commission, recognizing that many are perishing without Christ.
    • The role of technology and organizations like illumiNations in reaching the unreached with the gospel.
    • Jennie's emphasis on her own "ordinariness" and the fact that God can use anyone who is willing to say "yes" to Him.
    • A guided exercise in confession and reflection, emphasizing the importance of recognizing our need for God and sharing our struggles with others.
    Call to Action:
    • Participate in Gather25: Join the global Church on February 28th and March 1st, 2025 for this unifying event.
    • Share the gospel: Take every opportunity to share the good news of Jesus with those around you.
    • Invest in your spiritual health: Prioritize your relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, and confession.
    • Support organizations reaching the unreached: Partner with ministries like illumiNations who are translating the Bible into the remaining languages without Scripture.
