Mohabbat is a term that means love, but not just simple love, it means the love of a lifetime. It encompasses all types of love, whether it be romantic, or towards art, or towards an idea, and the stories that stem from someone’s love is what brings our show to life. The word 'Mohabbatein' sums up our series in more ways than one. The reason for that is that this series shines a spotlight on artists throughout history, spanning across generations. In this series, we learn about the lives of these artists, we put on their masks and look at the world through their eyes, learning about their ups and downs, their successes and their failures, their muses, and their motivations. We get to see what truly inspired these artists, whether it be the love for their craft, the love for another person that inspired them, the heartbreaks in their lives that came from love lost, or the love for the idea of creating. When we boil down to it all, the core emotion that is left behind is love or more aptly put, 'Mohabbat' and hence the name 'Mohabbatein'. In the eleventh episode, we once again meet new faces, this time faces that have been well known due to their notoriety in the Indian Film Industry. Both known for their romantic chemistry on the big screen during their time working in the industry, and both these actors have some huge projects under their belts, but right now in our story, they are still in the midst of their career, these two are none other than Dilip Kumar and Madhubala. We meet them in a courtroom where we see that Dilip Kumar has sued Madhubala's father, and this is where are story begins. These two actors had fallen for each other as they worked together on the big screen, but it was Madhubala's father who revealed himself to be the villain in their story. Will Dilip Kumar succeed in winning over Madhubala through this court battle? Will Madhubala stand alongside Dilip Kumar and against her father? In the tenth episode, we see that Paro is now married to a landowner in the village of Manikpur where she's living a life filled with all that she can ask for, but this life does not give her any mental peace or true joy that she could only get with Devdas. Speaking of whom, we see that Devdas has been deeply affected by the trauma and heartbreak of losing Paro, leading him to listen to Chunnilal and pick up the habit of drinking. During this time, he also starts going to Chandramukhi's qotha, but even these vices can't seem to fill the hole left behind in his heart by Paro. Chandramukhi starts to fall deeply in love with Devdas but Devdas has lost his will to seek anything. Will Devdas ever be able to recover from his heartbreak? In the ninth episode, we see that a wall has been created between the love of Devdas and Paro due to the differences in their families, and due to these differences, we see Paro's mother arrange her marriage with a landlord from Manikpur. Seeing all this happen, we see Devdas take this trauma of losing the love of his life to his heart and leave to go back to Kolkata where he becomes acquainted with Chunni Lal. Chunni Lal is someone who tempts Devdas to take up some vices in his life to help cope with his broken heart, one of these vices includes joining him to go see a dancer by the name of Chandramukhi. We also see Paro make a request to Devdas to shoulder her 'Doli' as she gets married to someone else, a really difficult ask to fulfill. Will Devdas be able to cope with this trauma?
