  • Ahava Rivka Ehrenpreis, née Sperka, is the author of On My Own... But Not Alone: Practical Advice and Personal Stories (Artscroll/Shaar Press, May 2019), the go-to book for women on their own and everyone who knows them. She is also the CFO of the Lev Akiva Shamai Institute for Torah Learning. A contributing writer to Mishpacha magazine and freelancer for popular Jewish publications and websites, Ahava has gained an active following for her many first-person essays; indeed the responses to her articles on facing life's challenges motivated her to segue into authorship of books that guide us in navigating life's challenges. Her new book 'More Than Special: Perspectives from the World of Special Needs' (Artscroll/Shaar Publishers, October 2021) is a book on the world of individuals with special needs in memory of her son, Saadya Ehrenpreis, a'h.
