  • 35. Dads can have postpartum depression too
    Feb 20 2025

    Hi lady!

When I first heard about the concept of dads experiencing postpartum depression, I was skeptical. But the more I thought about it and learned, the more I saw how some of the same things that could predispose a mom (plus a few things unique to dads) to PPD could also predispose a dad. Here's what you need to know about paternal PPD, not because it's your responsibility to "fix" him but so you know if it's time to encourage someone you love (and who loves you and your baby) to get the help they deserve. Learn more at https://www.postpartum.net/group/dad-support-group/.

  • 34. Postpartum with Twins
    Feb 13 2025

    Hey lady!

My guest host this week, Clare Sharp, graciously shared a glimpse into her life as a postpartum mom of twins! The thought of having twins certainly can bring up many anxieties and questions (do you experience double the sleep deprivation? How does one even feed two babies at a time?), so hearing from a real-life person can help separate fear from reality to show how mothering twins is not only possible. It can be a truly rewarding experience.
