    Pansexuality is the romantic, emotional, and/or sexual attraction to people regardless of their gender. Like everyone else, pansexual people may be attracted to some people and not others, but the gender of the person does not matter. People of any gender identity can and do identify as pansexual. though pansexuality is often seen as out of the mainstream sexual identity, it is really hard for people to navigate the multiple sexuality spectrum. And being a pansexual woman is even been seen down upon within the queer community itself. to address the issues of pansexual people, pan erasures, and different myths and confusions of pansexuality and hardly but no mainstream representation, we have Akki with us. 

    Akki is a corporate employee, an enthusiastic drag performer, and a proud pansexual person. she shares her journey of coming out, experiences, and anecdote in the conversation with Rangularattnam. we celebrate pride this month with more conversations on sexuality and gender so stay tuned.

This Mother’s Day, we are proud to have Mukunda Mala Manes garu, also known as Mala Aunty by many queer people across India. She is a proud rainbow mother to her child she gave birth and to countless queer kids who doesn’t have the fortune to get such supportive parents. Mala Aunty  garu have been creating and mobilizing conversation of parental support, allyship, inclusivity and equality in the society and been working towards uplifting many queer kids. Parental support goes a long way in helping LGBTQ+ children come to terms with their sexuality and in creating awareness about a cause that’s mired in prejudice despite the landmark Supreme Court ruling that decriminalized homosexuality. While some parents cannot be convinced enough, some can be talked into opening their minds. And for them Mala Aunty stands as a strong pillar of hope and support.

    A drag queen is a person, usually male, who uses drag clothing and makeup to imitate and often exaggerate female gender signifiers and gender roles for entertainment purposes. In modern times, drag queens are associated with gay men and gay culture, but people of many genders and sexual identities perform as drag queens.In this Episode of Rangularattnam we have famous telugu drag artist Kamani Sutra. With roots in Hyderabad, India, Kamani is currently living and studying America. she articulates about how drag has a personal family history for themselves, how gender queer dance forms in India and its western gaze are pre viling and how drag influenced her life.

Polyamorous people have multiple loving, intentional, and intimate relationships at the same time. Polyamory is a type of open or non-monogamous relationship that follows certain guidelines. Polyamory specifically refers to people who have multiple romantic relationships at the same time. It does not mean any type of open relationship that may include more casual sexual partners. In many polyamorous relationships, each partner is aware of the other ones. And as someone goes through these tough surroundings they become so empowering, inspiring and thought-provoking that the world which ones discriminated them gives the authority to rule the world.  Celebrating the Trans Awareness week, we at Rangula ratnam are privileges' to have Anamika, a Gen Z trans-woman who shared their journey with us and also shares some wonderful anecdotes on Gender Dysphoria, Trans Representation, Trans inclusive language and more.
