Heather Vandermeyden suffered from an extreme case of ulcerative colitis. She became septic and had to undergo multiple (total of 13) surgeries.

During her time in the ICU and in surgeries, Heather lefter her body at least 20 times. These near death experiences (NDEs) generally began with her softly float up, seeing her body, and many times traveling to heavenly places. She felt completely disconnected from her body.

She met her unborn adopted children, visited a 'building of knowledge', enjoyed healing waters, and would arrive back in her body with a 'jolt.' She felt a profound sense of going home whenever she left her body. She felt healthy, young, and had no worries.

During one experience, she saw the face of God through the glass of a door. "He was beautiful, with piercing blue eyes, white silvery hair, and a well-trimmed beard." He knew everyone and cared deeply about each one.

Kate discusses her experience publicly for the first time.

This is a podcast about NDEs (Near Death Experiences), but when we hear an experience as beautiful as Kate's, we have to share.

In 2022, Kate Quay's good friend was murdered. It was not only a horrible tragedy for her friend's family, but also a traumatic experience for Kate. 24 hours later, Kate had a profound, beautiful, joyful dream that she was with her friend. It is the only time she has had a dream that seemed completely like real life.

In her experience, she visited with her friend who said, "You're an amazing mother." She also conveyed, "I'm OK and I'm not alone." This brought peace to Kate's heart.

In this episode we discuss NDEs (near death experiences), SDEs (shared death experiences), and other STEs (spiritually transformative experiences). We also dive into fear of death, significance of dreams, and the marriage between emotion and intellect.

Susie (Abetha, Spain) developed a large brain tumor and was given only 3 weeks to live.

After a few days in the hospital, she woke up knowing that she would die that day. As death came on, her spirit came out of the top of her head with a "whoosh." She felt FREE!

During her near death experience (NDE), Susie felt freedom and love like she had never felt before. She was actually excited and curious. She had overwhelming feelings of peace, bliss, and unconditional love. She experienced the cosmos.

Eventually she was given the choice of coming back or staying; she knew it was a one-time choice. She felt like her young, teenage son needed her and chose to go back. The day after returning from your NDE, a new brain scan showed that the cancer was completely gone. Her doctors were shocked and called it a miracle!

Mike McKinsey didn't realize that his appendix had burst when he started feeling gut pain. Three days later he finally went to the Emergency Room and was diagnosed, needing an emergency appendectomy.

Before he felt like he was even under anesthesia, his near death experience began. Looking to his right he saw Jesus in the room with his hand outstretched. Taking His hand, Mike was led to the top of a mountain where he looked down and viewed a heavenly city.

During his NDE, Mike's senses were heightened to where he could feel every blade of grass under his feet. He saw a beautiful sunset that was lit by "the glory of the Lord." His childhood prayer was answered.

As doctors shocked him back to life, Mike's NDE ended abruptly.

Father Nigel Mumford has had 2 most unusual and profound NDEs! The first happened while serving in the Royal Marines as a Green Beret. During a scuba diving outing he was saved from drowning, but not before seeing a tunnel, traveling, then seeing a slideshow of his life.

In addition to a life review during his near death experience, Nigel saw many other 'good' things, nothing bad. He felt no guilt.

Nigel's second NDE happened years later when he contracted swine flu or H1N1 virus. He fell deathly ill, couldn't breath, spent 3 weeks in a coma and 3 months in the ICU. While unconscious, he had a near death experience in which he literally felt his spirit leave his body and go out through the ceiling of the hospital. He saw a blade of grass, granite steps, 3 white tulips, mansions, and even his house which was made of glass.

Ultimately, he saw Jesus on the cross.

Steve shares his NDE publicly for the first time.

Steve Childs is a former U.S. Marine. In 2009 he suffered a series of heart attacks which led to triple bypass surgery. During surgery he actually woke up while the surgeon was holding his heart in his hands. What a way to start a near death experience!

During his NDE, Steve experienced being carried or flown through the universe. He saw stars and planets whiz by. "WOW," he said!

But the most impressive part of his NDE was feeling the "incredible, unbelievable love" that enveloped him. He now knows without a doubt that something beautiful happens when we die.

Steve learned many thing, including that there is a God and that you get to Him through love.
