Episode Summary:
In this week’s episode of “Pumpkins and Politics” with Chad George, Chad will be wrapping up with our second series, about the United States Constitution. In this series, we have taken a close look at the events and the many situations leading up to the United States Constitution.
We are continuing our weekly series of the “50 Most Influential people” segment, where Chad chooses one influential person from each state to talk about. This week, our influential person is from the state of Montana. Former U.S. Rep. Jeannette Rankin was born in Missoula County, Montana Territory. She was an American politician and women’s rights advocate, and the first woman to hold federal office in the United States. She was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives as a Republican form Montana in 1916 and again in 1940.
In this episode, we touch on some key points:
1. We will read the United States Constitution
2. We will read the Bill of Rights to the United States Constitution
3. We will read the other amendments that have been ratified and added to the United States Constitution.
