    In this episode Steve talks to piano player and musical director Jason Thompson. Jason has worked with some of the biggest names in the business for over 40 years. He talks about his experience and shares some insight into his musical journey. He tells some great stories about performing at prestigious events around the world including a concert for Richard Branson and the Queens Golden Jubilee. He also plays some of his favourite pieces, showcasing his amazing talents.

He started singing in bands in South Wales when he was 16 before taking long term residencies in Spain and Croatia. On returning to the UK he moved to Devon in South West England. Here he started writing songs for his first album. The album Hello World was signed to US label ACM Records and was released in 2006.

    He continued touring throughout Europe with 12 tours to Scandinavia and many gigs in London and South East England.

    He still writes songs, does the occasional gig and is a music teacher. He is based in London.

    In this episode Steve reviews the recently re-released Beatles film Let it Be. Released in May 1970 one month after the band split, it was badly received at the time and was disliked by the band especially John Lennon. 54 years on what is the verdict on this newly restored version?

    In this latest episode Steve talks to Michelle John. Michelle was a finalist on the Voice UK and is a backing singer to the stars. She has worked with Whitney Houston, George Michael, Eric Clapton, Carole King and many more. She tells us about her time as a coach on Pop Idol where she worked with Girls Aloud. In 2017 Michelle reached the finals of The Voice UK, as part of Will.i.am’s team. She tells us about the side effects of a big TV show, having to deal with social media and how that can impact on your life.

    She talks about her album The Diva Songbook – Through the storm and how she found solace in her music following some personal setbacks.

    She also tells a fascinating story of working with one of America's greatest singer/songwriters, Carole King!
