Camron is back! We had a conversation on twitter that I felt was important to share with you as well.

The web 3 space seems like the wild wild west where no rules apply, this is not completely true. Even though there are place sin the world where there is absolutely no regulation whatsovere for crypto (yet), in the United States there are. Europe is moving fast with it's regulation as well.

Cade is an NFT YouTuber, podcaster, Tiktoker, and one of the first NFT friends I made.  He reveals how he churns out so much content consistently. He despises social events but he did enjoy the crypto events he has attended. He tagged along with an extrovert and met a bunch of people that way. 

A project was trying to recruit him on the team knowingly wanting to rug. Cade obviously declined, reputation and being ethical is important. He warns content creators to watch out what they promote. We talk about following your intuition and your heart, while taking massive action will get you to where you want to go.

Cade and I both have stories of hard times personaily, while working our butts off to get where we are now. Cade reminises about the first time he was taken seriously as a kid, and how it built his confidence. We go into a whole conversation about taking kids seriously to build their confidence.

Lisa and I talk about getting hate comments on the internet, and how it's holding her back. I share how I deal with the negative comments. When Lisa got her first negative comment on tiktok, where she is a creator, someone jumped in with a reply that contained jargon that she didn't understand. She had to look up the word to know if they were defending her or agreeing with the negative commenter!

We have created an NFT/web 3 tiktok bubble that we like a lot and talk about that. The tiktok algorithm brought us together and we became friends. 

Lisa and I are both authors and we discuss the different ways that you can use NFTs as an author to publish your book.  Lisa has the idea to make a dynamic story where you choose your own path using Dynamic NFTs, and how to use NFTs for a bookclub.

Michael aka dr.Kojipup is chatting with me today. He tells us how he got started in web 3, he has been a retail trader in the stock world for 8 years and trading crypto for 7 years. But he is actually a physical therapist by trade, which highlights that you don;t have to work in tech to start your web 3 career. He walks us through how he started as a volunteer on Discord for a project, and worked his way up.

Michael has a good story and a bad story to share with us. The bad story involves uncovering a scammer and outing them. We talk about how we both feel super cringe when somebody we know finds our crypto social media, even though we're both doxxed and open about working in crypto. I share a story about how I once owned a whole bitcoin, and used it to buy something on the internet, and gave the remainder as a tip.

We dive into why she started posting to tiktok, as a women in web 3 it can be difficult to find your place when the space is so dominatd by men. We talk about women in web 3 who make tiktok content, the clunckiness of Discord, and building community. How communities on Discord are only as good as the extrovert in the room. The conversation and culture is being decided by the few people dominating the conversation. 

We talk about the power of LinkedIn, Regan gives tips on your web 3 resume and how to utilize LinkedIn for that as well. Her tiktok account is about how to start your career in web 3, Regan gives her top 3 tips on how to start. She goes into detail about some web 3 marketing tactics she has used in the past, that worked very well which include the Botcoin and Dogecoin waffle story.

Lastly she tells us about a native web 3 social media platform, where you own your content and you can take your community wherever you go. How in the future your followers might be able to earn royalties off your content and knowledge.

We start this episode with a story about Patricks brother getting scammed twice in one day! We touch on why Patrick started creating crypto content, and that crypto jargon was the biggest treshold for me when I first started learning about NFTs, it sounded like a secret language. We both feel that the more you learn, the less it feels like you understand everything.
