Day 331 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE.

In Daniel 2:24-3:12, Daniel interprets King Nebuchadnezzar's dream about a giant statue, which represents different kingdoms. Impressed, the king promotes Daniel. Later, the king builds a huge golden statue and orders everyone to worship it. Three of Daniel's friends, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, refuse to worship the statue because they only worship God. This makes the king very angry, and he orders them to be thrown into a fiery furnace. In 2 Peter 1, Peter, one of Jesus' closest friends, writes to Christians, reminding them to live good lives. He encourages them to grow in faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, kindness, and love. Peter says these qualities make them strong in their faith and help them know Jesus better. He reminds them that he saw Jesus' power and majesty himself, and that the messages from the prophets about Jesus are true. Peter tells them to pay attention to these messages like a light shining in a dark place.

Day 330 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE. Daniel 1-2:23 tells the story of a young man named Daniel and his friends, who were taken to Babylon when King Nebuchadnezzar conquered Jerusalem. Despite being in a foreign land, Daniel stayed true to his faith, refusing to eat the king's rich food, which went against his beliefs. God blessed Daniel and his friends with wisdom and understanding. Later, King Nebuchadnezzar had a troubling dream that none of his wise men could interpret. Daniel, with God's help, not only recounted the dream but also explained its meaning to the king. This showed that God's wisdom was greater than the wisdom of the world. 1 Peter 5 gives advice and encouragement to both church leaders and Christians. It tells elders (church leaders) to care for their members willingly and humbly, not for power or money. Younger people are advised to be humble and respectful to their elders. The passage also encourages everyone to be humble under God’s power, to cast all their worries on Him because He cares for them. It warns to be alert and resist the devil, promising that after suffering for a short time, God will restore and strengthen them. The letter ends with personal remarks and blessings.

Day 329 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE. Ezekiel 47-48 describes a vision where a river flows from the temple, bringing life wherever it goes. This shows how God's presence brings life and healing. Then, the land of Israel is divided among the tribes, symbolizing restoration and God's promise to His people. It's about hope and God's care for His people.

1 Peter 4 teaches us to live for God and not just for ourselves. It says that we might suffer for being Christians, just like Jesus did, but that's okay because it shows we're following Him. The chapter also tells us to love each other, use our gifts to serve others, and always remember that God is in charge.
