The Symptom Wisdom Show With Sarah Kimberley

Auteur(s): Sarah Kimberley
  • Résumé

  • Hi, I’m Sarah Kimberley.. I love translating the bodymind into symptom wisdom. The Symptom Wisdom Show is a yogic and metaphysics podcast that explores the wisdom whispers from the body that most women are yearning to reconnect with: what is my body telling me with this pain? How do I listen to Her? How do I break the patterns that keep me needing the symptom? What does it feel like to trust the truth of my own intuition, and to act on it? Is it possible to alchemise my most painful wounds, showing up in these symptoms, into my biggest gifts and the life I desire? We’ll attune with the instrument of the body and decode the wisdom she reveals - you will learn how to embody that wisdom through artistry, life redirection, voice reclamation, and creative and vulnerable expression. Through disruptive solo teachings and awakening, deep AF conversations, you’ll finally get the bodymind education of ancient truths, wound alchemy and women’s council that is totally missing from the modern chronic illness industry. • #36 Rejecting The Feminine: How The Mother Wound Shows Up In Chronic Symptoms
    Nov 14 2024

Sarah Kimberly discusses the conditioning of rejecting the feminine as an internalisation of the mother wound. She explores how rejection of feminine aspects like softness, wildness, and sexuality shows up in symptoms such as chronic pain, chronic fatigue, low libido, and Endometriosis. Sarah differentiates between two strategies: "Good Girling," where one overgives to be loved, and "You Owe Me," where one demands to be met. She emphasizes the need for self-mothering and reparenting to heal these wounds, suggesting that symptoms communicate unmet needs and that integrating rejected feminine aspects of our inner little girl is crucial for healing and embodying one's true self. In this episode explore how to break free from the cycle of conditional love, people-pleasing and guarded independence rooted in the mother wound. Discover how to embody your inherent worth by integrating your rejected feminine aspects. Reflect on the parts of your feminine self that may have been shut down, and if you're ready to take it beyond theory, consider working with me 1:1 or in ⚜️Embodied Symptom Wisdom⚜️where you'll reprogram your bodymind and meet the full spectrum of the woman within you. • #35 Why Identifying As "Self Healer" Is Just As Limiting, Exhausting & Endless As When You Were "Chronic Illness Warrior"
    Oct 18 2024

What happens when you aren't looking for something to fix, treat, process, heal? In this episode I explore the concept of "self-healing" and being in a "healing era" or on a "healing journey" as an overcorrection of the same core wound of the chronically sick chapter. I assert that after the chronically sick chapter and after the chronically healing chapter, there's a next chapter or initiation, and I call that chapter embodied symptom wisdom. This episode explores common belief sets, core needs and looping patterns that keep women stuck in cycles of healing-flaring-recovering. Those patterns can be reconditioned, reparented and realigned. Symptoms can be heard, integrated, and freed from the bodymind; it doesn't have to be an endless, self-martyring healing journey.
