  • Testimonials of Clients Using Psychedelics & Sex with Jennifer Jones Hurst
    Sep 11 2024

Jennifer Hurst is a Trauma Informed Enneagram Practitioner with a private practice in St. George Utah. She is a mother to 7, 6 sons (3 daughter in laws) 1 daughter and 1 (almost 2 grandbabies.

Jen has been studing personality theory personally and professionally, for over 30 years. This is what drove her to begin coaching and consulting with people using personality, specifically the Enneagram as a ‘sense making’ framework to better help people understanding themselves and others. Through this process of helping people uncover unconscious patterns, adaptations, habits and defense mechanisms it was clear to her that there was way more to the ‘big picture of personality’ mainly unresolved TRAUMA. Because of this she choose to really set herself apart in the industry, by adding to her repertoire of expertise, real trauma informed training.

She choose continuing education, specificity through Dr. Gabor Mates Compassionate Inquiry program who uses a unique psychotherapeutic approach to trauma. In an over saturated world of online pseudo-trauma therapy and 5 second self-help posts, Jen believes it is her warmth and love of people combined with her exceptional training and real life experience that sets her a part in the world of Enneagram professionals.

Real Trauma Informed Enneagram is the most useful tool she knows of, to help people discover and heal ‘who they really are,’ have the courage to confront their shadow and then befriend the version of themself they wish most to become.

    Jun 26 2024

"We are never more fully alive, more completely oursevles, or more deeply engrossed than when we are playing." Charles Schaefer

How does play affect our mental health? How does it aid in our healing of past traumas and struggles?

Parenting children with mental health challenges can be isolating and lonely. Here you can find community with a host and other people who understand. On Cheryl's podcast , Fight Like a Mother, we talked about the importance of PLAY.

"My guest in this episode is Ashlynn Mitchell. I have followed Ashlynn for many years on Instagram and she is an incredible example of resilience and healing. I have learned about so many tools and perspective shifts and ways of healing.

Recently I have watched her as she has incorporated FUN and PLAY into her healing. She has rediscovered roller skating as a form of play and I have loved watching her pure joy as she skates and learns and grows. As soon as I saw she went to a roller skating retreat with women she didn't know l knew I needed her on the show.

The benefits of laughter as a release as well as singing, dancing, PLAYING cannot be overstated for all humans.

Laughter is as effective as an emotional release as crying, and sometimes they can be done together!

Ashlynn works with women who have been betrayed in their relationships. She runs incredible groups where women find support, healing and community."
