You feel the experience of A Healing for Gaia. May it inspire all who listen to this musical lyrical experience find higher love within themselves; to cherish the precious gift of this incarnation and revere the amazing home we all share–Gaia our Mother Earth.

There are slight lifestyle changes we can all choose to make which improve our wellbeing, and the author is not talking about attempting to become a perfect person or living a perfect life, that kind of utopia is false, it doesn’t really exist. The same as expecting every day to go perfectly and exactly as we want it. This is never going to happen, there will always be twists and turns in life; and how often these experiences are precisely the way we grow as people! And we can help ourselves in so many ways.

Inspired and written about places I came to know while living in Cheshire for some fifteen years or on my trips back to visit the County. A walk around Chester Walls experiencing echoes of the past, exploring the leafy countryside, a cricket match in Prestbury and a night spent at the Edge in Alderley, finding seclusion amidst the hustle and bustle of urban life, a visit to Tatton one summer’s day, and poetic homages to the rich industrial history and natural beauty of Cheshire. Poetic stories of people above all else.

I appreciate I am a fortunate person. I love to travel and I adore writing poems. Happily, I am able to combine the two in many of my poetry books. For this collection I travelled further and explored deeper than ever before. You can hold the results in your very hands. I always see my stories as glimpses into moments of time, rather like seeds trapped in amber, windows offering a view into past events and places I have been.

These tales have been inspired and written about places I have visited in the evocative Red Rose County and the people I encountered along the way. Some of these are people I have met, others from the past brought to life once again through the power of words. This is a county I have come to know intimately over the decades, my first live poetry shows were right there in Lancashire and I actually lived within the Preston area when writing this collection. I always see my poetic tales as windows offering glimpses into a frozen moment of time, rather like seeds trapped within amber.
