Nero is slowly losing his friend. He will do anything to save them, even if the consequences are terrifying. Several years have passed since the orphans joined the rebel group Catalyst. As their training advances, they begin to contribute to the fight for equality. If the Erohsians were their only problem, life would be simple, but their reality is far from kind. Six monoliths of Aether located across Anterra strengthen the barrier of a prison located in the higher dimensions. This prison has contained the Savior for a thousand years, but now the Drebin's ruthless quest for the monolith keys is precipitously near completion. In their race against the Drebin, the grown orphans stumble upon a lab, long dormant. Bewildered, Iona finds hints to her past, along with something that scares even the Drebin.
