Destota Valentine is not a normal kid, and Vandor is not a normal planet. A haven for scientists founded 6,000 years ago, when a civil war forced them off Earth. Jeremy Edwards is a normal kid, playing hockey in a small Colorado town, bound for a dream career with the NHL. When an opportunity arises to visit an elite hockey camp in Minnesota, his absentee parents are overjoyed and send him along without a second thought. But neither Jeremy, nor his parents, know that he's actually been recruited, and brainwashed into an assassin program for the Calabrian mafia.
