I den mindre by Brønderslev i Nordjylland hører røveri heldigvis sjældenhederne. Hele byen blev derfor dybt rystet, da Brønderslev og opland i løbet af kun 10 dage i efteråret 2008 blev udsat for fire grove røverier. Bag røverierne stod en lille håndfuld utilpassede unge i alderen 16-18 år.
