The year is 2016. The presidency is up for grabs, again. Once, the man had engineered the election of the first black American president. After eight years of the oblivion, they called on him to prevent losing to an outsider. Just like before, death, destruction, and a trail of assassinations follow him. This time, it hits home.

On January 20, 2009, a new occupant had moved into the White House. The transition of power from the previous administration had been orderly and uneventful, and on the surface, seemed to move smoothly through the process as prescribed by the U.S. Constitution.

What millions of Americans couldn't know was that a few years before the new president was born, another man had been offered two lives to live. His choice would change the lives of every man, woman and child on our planet. Many famous assassinations had been left behind in the wake of his ascension. He destroyed many large individual fortunes and the economies of some countries.

If a 19-year-old man listened to his instincts and took a different turn in Vienna, his entire life would have changed.... He finds himself in the foreign country on the other side of the globe. He doesn't know anything about his adoptive land, he is all alone in the entire universe. A sequence of random encounters leads to unexpected events in his life. Within a few short weeks, the man finds a job, a new home, a university to go to, and even a girl. All without speaking the language.
