Belle is an American descendant of the world famous Müritz family. Just as she is about to go on her gap year, Belle receives a locket and a photo album, both of which once belonged to her late grandmother; both items hold a clue to a hidden family history. Inspired by the secrets they hold, Belle decides to follow in the footsteps of both her grandmother Elizabeth and her great-great-grandmother Johanna. Belle's historical and physical journey of discovery takes her from nineteenth century Vienna to the hippy trail in the 1960s as she tries to unravel the secrets of the Müritz women.

Jojo joins Yoohoo and Clover on a journey to go see the Great Wise One and seek its advice. To get there, they need to fly to the edge of The Different Land with the help of a show-the-wayer, a large yellow bird drawn by Clover.

Strange things are happening to The Different Land – Clover is thrown off a tree, the mushrooms are losing their colours, and the birds sound hoarser than usual. Just what is happening to the magic in their world?

Jojo, a little boy who can run really fast, comes across a talking miniature fox called 'Yoohoo' one day. He follows Yoohoo home, to the forest on the other side of where he lives, and embarks on a magical adventure into the unknown.

The water level in the creek is fast decreasing and Jojo comes up with a plan to get water from his house—on the other side of the land—to refill the creek. Clover summons animals from all parts of the forest to help them on their mission.

The all-knowing Great Wise One tells Jojo, Yoohoo and Clover that the water in the creek which surrounds their land is going down, and the less water there is, the less magic. The three friends put on their thinking caps to try and solve the problem together.

Everyone bands together to refill the creek. However, the water level continues to decrease--much to their dismay--and Jojo blames himself for causing the land to lose its magic power. What else can the animals do to stop that from happening?

Jojo is treated to a bowl of delicious soup at Yoohoo's underground house and meets Clover, a tiger who can draw really well, for the first time. Jojo is amazed by Clover's magical ability to bring his drawings and pictures to life.

Jojo and the animals are at a loss. A centipede suggests they try reversing the situation and stop the magic from disappearing by retracing their steps along the exact same route. They almost succeed but…

After multiple failed attempts, Jojo and the animals finally learn that the source of all magic is friendship – there is unity is strength and the magic get its power from their friendship. By working together to restore the water level in the creek, they have mixed the magic of both sides to form a new spell and grow the power in both their lands.
