Whispering Mountain

Lou was having a really bad day. Her best friend stole her boyfriend. She was fired for no reason. Rent was due, and her roommate was out of town...again. Then, she found out her wonderful Grandma G had died, leaving Lou the Sweet Hearth Bakery in the small town of Whispering Mountain way up north in the Pacific Northwest. Jobless, friendless, and boyfriendless, Lou definitely needed a break from her disintegrating life. It was the perfect time to take a road trip, to run away, even...no one would even miss her, not for a while anyway. And just because she burned absolutely everything in the kitchen lately, didn’t mean she couldn’t run a bakery, right? But when a ghost who smelled like heaven saved her life and Grandma G’s pretty tabby cat with the multi-colored eyes started talking to her, it was time to ask some serious questions. Was there really magic in the town...or was she just going crazy?
