You’ve probably heard about Egypt and the amazing pyramids they built, but did you know that there is a lot more to ancient African history than just the Egyptians? They were only a small part of Africa’s amazing history.

Thousands of years ago, the ancient Greeks told wonderful stories about their many gods, goddesses, adventures and heroes.... Eventually, someone decided it’s such an AMAZING story that they should write it down. Those are the myths we have today! These myths are perfect to introduce to children of all ages. As you will soon discover, Greek myths are full of adventure and are great to listen to at bedtime or in the day. These stories feature heroic battles, epics, magic, gods, goddesses, inspiring stories, exciting places, and much, much more.

The Jewish people are one of the oldest living people groups on the planet. The Jews lived alongside the ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, Phoenicians, and Sumerians - all of whom have since disappeared from the pages of history. Yet the Jews still remain. Despite all of the odds, Jewish culture, language, laws, and religion have remained intact over the course of thousands of years.

An epic history of a doomed civilization and a lost empire. The devastating struggle to the death between the Carthaginians and the Romans was one of the defining dramas of the ancient world. He was a writer of unexcelled genius and consummate skill. But his work fell into oblivion not long after his death, and has come down to us based on the text of a single tattered manuscript from the Middle Ages.

The Song of Roland is acknowledged today as the first masterpiece of French vernacular literature and one of the world’s greatest epic poems. Written down around the year 1090, The Song of Roland finely crafted verses tell of the betrayal and defeat of Charlemagne’s beloved nephew at the Pass of Roncevaux in the Pyrenees and of the revenge subsequently sought on his behalf.
