A story based on the allowances of the scripture "2 Corinthians 12:9-10".

The Nativity: During the reign of King Herod of Judea, an unwed teenage virgin called Mary is impregnated with a magical baby by the Holy Spirit. She and her fiancé, Joseph, travel to Bethlehem for a preposterous census, and Mary has to give birth in a stable. Meanwhile, a group of stargazing magi who have traipsed hundreds of miles after a star inadvertently inform the king of Judaea of the Messiah’s birth. Also included: "Herod’s Christmas Carol" and a bonus, "Parodies of a Visit from St. Nicholas".

Four thousand years ago, Israelite general Gideon triumphed against the enemy Midianites. Before the battle, Gideon asked for a sign, so God made a sheep fleece wet, but kept the ground dry. After the victory, Gideon made a priestly vest from plundered gold earrings. Fast forward to modern day where Achava, a guardian of Israel with supernatural powers, invites Sam, a retired Biblical Studies professor, to travel with her to view the purported golden vest.

Two thousand years ago, Christ was mocked during the crucifixion with a painful crown of thorns. Fast forward to modern day where Khassima, a former betrayer of one of God's chosen, saves the life of Achava, the only protector of Israel. Now, Khassima and Achava seek the Crown of Christ. Meanwhile, Sam Godfrey, an archeologist, goes on an international search for Aharon Malka with Anthea, Achava's archrival half-sister. Aharon may be the key to finding the crown. Or, he may just want it for himself.

The Gospel According to Judas, by Benjamin Iscariot, sheds new light on the mystery of Judas (including his motives for the betrayal and what happened to him after the crucifixion) by retelling the story of Jesus through the eyes of Judas, using the canonical texts as its basic point of reference.
