Child Poetry

The voice of the soul can be heard through poetry, helping us to look at the world in a new and different way. Sometimes it brings to light details we may never have noticed before. It is a way to express feelings and emotions about a person, image, or event. Images, feelings, ideas; all of these could be described in a myriad of ways using poetry techniques, bringing to life the expressions in an intense, succinct and yet vivid manner.

The child will naturally engage with the immediate introduction to the main character, Teddy. “The Bear Teddy” offers a standing invitation to the Child. The Child will observe that there is inspiration to be found in the natural world around them and in far-off distant lands.
