Among all the texts and manuscripts of mythology, the Greek mythology is believed to be the most ancient one. Just like all other mythic beliefs, Greek mythology also holds specific beliefs about the origin of this universe and the phenomenon of evil and goodness. These myths have travelled hundreds of years and have sustained the blows of alterations and personal depictions.

Sin embargo, quizás el logro más significativo en toda la historia espartana fue la derrota de los atenienses en la Guerra del Peloponeso. He was a recognized and celebrated intellectual force during all of antiquity and the Middle Ages. Furthermore, after Aristotle, Greek thought and political influence began a rapid decline.

In 427 B.C., the Ancient Greek city-state of Athens was flourishing. Approximately 80 years earlier, the Athenians had formed the first self-representative democracy in history, the Peloponnesian War against Sparta had only just started, and Socrates was only beginning to lay the foundation of what would become Western philosophy.
