Japanese folklore stories have always been an important cultural part of Japan, influencing the way they perceive the world around them. These stories were passed down orally, generation to generation, and eventually they were written down. This collection brings together some of the most important and interesting legends and is translated into English by Yei Theodora Ozaki.
