The practices and values in the United States educational system position linguistically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse children and families at a disadvantage. BIPOC dropout rates and levels of stress and anxiety have linked with non-inclusive school environments. In this collection, three educators draw on their experiences as immigrants and educators to address racial inequity in the classroom and provide a thorough analysis of different strategies that create an inclusive classroom.

In I'm Mixed and I'm Me, Snacks and Wiggles are on a journey, snacking and dancing through their day to understand where they came from and why they are different from some of their friends. From Mommy's northern Maine woods to Daddy's Jamaican beaches, they will explore what it means to be from two different cultures. They will learn what sets them apart but also how their differences are exactly what make them special.

Join children from Haiti, India, Korea, Rwanda, Spain, New Zealand, and many more countries as they each declare God's truth about their identities.
