Iceland, AD 935. Einar Unnsson is destined to be great. When he fights, a frenzy comes upon him. It makes him lethal in battle – so lethal he just defeated the man his own father sent to kill him. Having lost a precious talking cup, Whetstone is also desperate to cover up his mistake and the two embark on a quarrelsome journey to find it and regain their heroic status. But Loki the trickster God is desperate to get his hands on the cup with a plan to unleash chaos across the nine worlds. Can Whetstone prove himself a hero after all when it matters most?

This story is an adaptation of the original German fairy tale König Drosselbart by the Grimm brothers. It is set among the Vikings, where Viking-girl Gro just does not fit into the customs of her society. When her father conspires with one of his "drengrs" to break her spirit, Gro uses her wit and courage to find her own path in life.

When the enemies of King Ragnar destroy Ladda's village, she'll do anything it takes to lead the survivors to safety - even agreeing to marry the king himself.
