Continue the series
I did not enjoy the narrator and felt that her performance took away from the book. It took far into the story for me to sense any emotional connection between the characters and, as this is the first book I’ve heard/read by Tamera Alexander, I initially wondered if I just didn’t enjoy her as an author, or if it was the non-emotional way it was read. I feel that a more artistic and creative performance would have added greatly to this audiobook. It felt very stiff, for lack of a better word.
