About this listen
Micah’s estranged father lies dying, rotting away inside from some strange ailment that has his doctors whispering about “zombie disease".
Anita Blake makes her living off of zombies - but these aren’t the kind she knows so well. These creatures hunt in daylight, and are as fast and strong as vampires. If they bite you, you become just like them. And round and round it goes...Where will it stop? Even Anita Blake doesn’t know.

“Laurell K. Hamilton is the reigning queen of the urban fantasy world.” (Midwest Book Review)
“Hamilton remains one of the most inventive and exciting writers in the paranormal field.” (Charlaine Harris)

Best one yet
This book finally gave an even mix of storyline and sex. I really enjoyed this book and it was nice to get more background on some of the main characters.

The voices 😣
I really love the Anita Blake stories. the lady reading have an almost perfect voice for Anita's persona, but OMG some of the guy voices are sooooo cringy. Character, Nicky, every time he has a line, it makes my ears bleed. I tried to get over it but honestly I'd get a not nice crawling sensation from hearing that "voice" being done. That is the only bad thing I have to say. Every other voice was fun and dynamic. I liked that a lot 👍🏻 I will be going into the next audiobook but I hope I never have to listen to Nicky's voice out loud ever again. 😫
