Excellent book

The beginning of the book was hard to get into. Lynn Austin is my favourite author so I continued listening. After a few chapters it was hard to stop listening. It’s a heartbreaking story. I cried many times. She draws you into the story and you feel as if you truly know the characters.
I highly recommend this book.

Redemption

I enjoyed the book. It shows how vulnerable young women can be, particularly if they are resentful or have a low sense of value. It also brings out how debilitating a family secret can be & how it affect future generations.

At first it seemed a little slow, but then I got into the story and did a lot of crying.
