About this listen

The first three books in the Irish Village Mystery series are included in this edition.

In Murder in an Irish Village (book 1), 22-year-old Siobhán O’Sullivan runs her family’s bistro in the small village of Kilbane, County Cork, Ireland. One morning, they find a man at a table with a pair of scissors protruding from his chest - and now it’s up to feisty redheaded Siobhán to solve the crime and save her beloved brood.

In Murder at an Irish Wedding (book 2), Siobhán and her five siblings have their plates full catering a celebrity wedding. But the celebratory mood suddenly turns sober when the best man is found murdered in the woods.

In Murder in an Irish Churchyard (book 3), Siobhán has accepted her calling and has decided to join the Garda Síochána. But her first case brings Macdara Flannery back into her life....

Very Enjoyable Book

I enjoyed listening to this book and imagining the Irish countryside and the small little town and its people… Looking forward to the next books in the series.

5 start for all 3 books

Loved them all! My 1st book by her was actually book 4 in this series, then I got this 3 book collection to back up and read the story from the start. I am already on book 7! I can't stop listening...LOL! I really enjoy her writing. Quirky, fun and lots of suspense and also romance. The characters are relatable and funny. I love all the details about Ireland; I am now obsessed with the idea of eating 'curry chips' and visiting Ireland at the 1st chance I get!

Her other collections have different narrators, and this one is by far my favourite. Caroline Lennon does a fantastic job. So much, that I am now looking at books narrated by her to listen to those.

Addicting.

Incredible listen. This series is well-written and read with endearing Irish accents. Almost impossible to turn off. If you're looking to get lost in a new series; your search is over.

My new favourite cozy mystery

Murder mysteries, nice little town, great siblings dynamic, obligatory love story? Sold! This is well worth a credit. I enjoyed it enough to buy more credits in order to get the 4-7 pack of books. I’m hoping for more O’Sullivan 6 stories even though I doubt we will, but one can hope!
Good narration and SO much better than the 3.5 book I just started which has a different narrator.

Clearly not written by an Irish person.

Either that, or an American editor took over. Too much talk of “grades” and “pints” and kowtowing to the priest. Americans ruin everything.
