WTF Was That Ending?! – A Blood Bonds Review

I just finished Blood Bonds, and all I can say is… WTF. No, seriously—WT actual F was that ending?! I need the next book now.
But let’s back up because there was a whole book before that jaw-dropping moment. So far, this is my favorite in The Bonds That Tie series, even though the beginning felt a bit repetitive after the last one. Once again, Oli gets captured, must escape, escapes, and then drowns in guilt for what she had to do to survive. That said, I really enjoyed the development of her relationships with her Bonds in this one. And Nox? I’m desperate for more answers about him because I know his story is going to be epic.
The book is told in multi-POV with immersive audio, and the narration by Kasi Hollowell and Wen Ross is chef’s kiss. Each character’s personality is well-defined, making it easy to follow. However, I have to say—Oli’s Bond? Creepy and fascinating. I know some readers get frustrated with the repetitive mentions of "the Bond," but to me, it feels similar to shifter books, where the human is merging with another entity. That’s how I see it, anyway.
And this quote? Perfection:
“The road to hell for me is paved with everything I would do for you, and that list never f***ing ends.”
I could say more, but spoilers! So, onto the next book because I need answers. 🔥

love the story
loving the story. best one so far. I like the female narrator, but the male narrator almost makes me want to stop listening.

My favourite so far in the series
Wow it just ended a on a huge cliffhanger!
So much just happened in this book, action, adventure, spice (finally) & betrayal.
Im going to start the next book right now I need to know what happens!

Full of action- all kinds
The story has definitely heated up and the plot is filled with action sequences of all kinds. Definitely much more fast paced than previous books.
Secrets are spilling out everywhere and I can’t stop listening to this addictive series.
There is much more content from the male performer- which is brilliantly done. I love the perspectives from the male bonds.
The female performer continues to be completely on point. I am so disappointed that books 4,5 & 6 are not yet on audible. I’ll have to wait. Boo. Hiss!!!

Absolutely NOTHING happens!
The story was soooo boring, I had to force myself to finish it so I didn’t waste my credit buying it. The last 3 books would have been cut down by half and it would not affect the plot. The narrators tried to overcompensate by exaggerating the emotions in their voices. I will not be continuing with this series.
