Very entertaining

I usually don't like courtroom dramas but this was an exception. There was enough character development to engage me in their story.
I wasn't initially a fan of the narrator but that quickly changed.

I enjoyed listening to this book and a first for me from this author.
Lies, deceit, drama and some good twists and turns.

About the Narrator

I have to chuckle. When I first started listening to this audiobook, I couldn’t stand the narrator’s voice But after the first chapter I was ok with it and by the end of the book I was searching for any other books he may have read. lol His ability to do the voices, female voices included, was excellent. I enjoyed the book and the legal aspects and the researching etc was quite accurate. In fact, I am now about to download another in the series.

Looking forward to more from this author

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well developed the story flowed. The narrator had a wonderful voice but seemed to have a bit of trouble with different voices. It did not take away from the enjoyment of the audiobook just a bit of constructive support.
I recommend this book and look forward to many more from this author

What’s Wrong? Everything

Well maybe not everything but a lot. First, the characters were poorly developed. For the most part, all were as colourless and shapeless as raw clay. I wish I’d cared for what happened to lawyer, client or anyone else for that matter, but it just wasn’t there.

The plot too, lacked the “punch” I would have expected. The story neither veered left nor right but ploughed ahead to its inevitable conclusion.

The narration, though, was good but would have been better with higher quality material. Moreover, there were grammatical errors in the narration as opposed to the dialog (what has happened to copy editors?).
