This is the 20th novel based in the world of Elan and the fifth in the Riyria Chronicle series.

Amazing, Fun, Entertaining, Funny.
Light and fun, with a good measure of drama appropriate for a book where you know the main characters will survive (being a prequel). And packed with a ton of little bits of info about the upcoming final series, and other books. Really quite an excellent book. Another great addition to the series.
Tim is amazing as always on the narration.
Robyn's afterward (a sort of de-brief at the end of the story) was also amazing. Please keep doing those!

character development of Royce
demindor is a normal Royce and hadrein novel with the added benefit of romance between Gwen and Royce,only complaint is there was no elder stone chapter or mention of while in the turdelfor,and in true fashion leveaing the mission until the last possible moment,whith one being intoxicated and the other just blood thirsty highly recommend all of this series

another great Royce and Hadrian adventure
it was another good Royce and Hadrian adventure. if you read any of the other Riyria adventures this one fits right in. the plot is sufficiently interesting, and the characters are what you come to expect.
Royce and Hadrian are hired to assassinated dwarf they find a much bigger plot of foot. they get to bring a cast of characters with them on an island vacation. it reminded me a bit of those 70 sitcoms where eventually they all end up going to Hawaii 😆
first off the bad. after reading all the previous adventures this one is a bit confusing from a timeline perspective. I was kind of hoping it was going to be an adventure post Riyria Chronicles and Revelations. instead it fits in the middle someplace. it did flush out some of the characters although the romance part with Gwen went on way too long it could have been shorter by a couple of chapters and it's sort of, in my opinion slowly diminished the voice character.
the good. the good far outweighs the bad it was another enjoyable adventure I was worried that because of its length it would become tedious but it didn't. Gerard Butler once again who I consider The voice did an excellent job on narration the plot was interesting the characters were interesting.

So good to visit again
I loved being back at the side of Ryira. I missed them all so much. I also LOVED the return of a character from a previous book who hot their hooks into my heart.
This 5th book isn't the strongest out of the serise by any reach but it's so fun and I loved seeing our main characters growth. the blooming of romance was perfect while keeping the characters true to who they are. there are also so man Easter eggs for those of us that have read all the other books. SO excited about Sullivan's next works.

Fun and Nail-biting
I am a big fan of this entire book series, I've been listening to them in chronological order and now venturing into Riyra Revelations. I have to say that this is my second most favorite book so far, there are so many twist and turns that keep you engaged in the story from beginning to end. The author has a way of immersing you into the storey that you are easily transported into the world he has created. I recommend this author
