About this listen
A Sister of the Dark captures Richard and takes him deep into the Old World, to the very heart of the Order, while his beloved Kahlan remains behind. Free because of Richard's sacrifice for her, but unwilling to abandon the cause of the Midlands, Kahlan violates not only prophecy but her last pledge to Richard, and raises an army against the advancing horde of the Imperial Order. Separated and fighting for their lives, Richard and Kahlan will be pushed to the limits of their endurance and tested in their love for one another.
Once again, the master storyteller weaves a riveting spell that will captivate even more fans for this incredible series.

The Wizard's Council of Tarador was supposed to tell young Koren Bladewell that he is a wizard. They were supposed to tell everyone that he is not a jinx, that all the bad things that happen around him are because he can't control the power inside him, power he doesn't know about. The people of his village, even his parents, are afraid of him, afraid he is cursed. That he is a dangerous, evil jinx.

Another great continuation of the story
Narrator has a great voice for the story. Not an epic book in the series but a great continuation of the main plot.

great story and a good narrator
I read this book years ago and listened to it recently on my commutes on the bus. This one is still my absolute favourite, and the narrator does a good job of telling the story. I ended feeling much the same as when I read it.. I can't wait to go on this journey a 3rd time In the future.

A story to read, RE read and RE RE read again.
I enjoy a good book as much as the next person but I absolutely loved the sword of truth series by Terry goodkind. This is one of my favorite books in it as it takes you on a journey into the development or not only the main character but side characters as well . Personally I feel that books 1 and 2 were great but the latter ones were good but lacked the same eye opening appeal. This book takes it back to the place I felt in book one and 2 and makes me want more.

best book of the series
I was a little disappointed when Richard got captured again. Seemed to be an over used plot line. But this is the best book of the series. Terry Goodkind delves deep into the flaws of collectivism and illustrates the virtues of freedom and individuality.
Every fan of fantasy should read this. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Atlas Shrugged as Fantasy
Loved this book, as I loved all of the Sword of Truth series. It does drag a little in parts, but you won't mind, it's just Goodkind masterfully developing characters. He's super descriptive, sometimes it may seem like a Young Adult book, but I still enjoyed it immensely. I enthusiastically encourage you to read this well written, wonderful book. A friend of mine reads them over & over.

Another great entry
I really like this book. the performance was great and the story beautiful told. it is almost 2 stories in one because of the two perspectives, both of which are a pleasure to hear. I definitely recommend this book for anyone who likes the Sword of Truth series.

Delves into communism and excellent performance
I tend to drop off about here when I re-read or re-listen.
Love the performance and the book is fantastic. It's a great book to show someone the difference between communism and capitalism. How one suffocates and the other frees.
