worth my time

hes so honest about the whole process and genuinely seems to just want it to be a good process for the reader. I'd recommend the book and the lifestyle to anyone wanting to up their life game

Surprisingly entertaining and informative

This book is a perfect blend of teaching you what you need to know, and an entertaining listen to chill out and enjoy. Very glad I decided to get this one. I was always looking forward to pressing play again whenever the opportunity came up. I will most likely listen again, while also reading the actual book to soak it all up. Not only does this book teach you about fasting in terms of eating. It also broadens the subject and teaches you some important tips on how to remain healthy overall and how to listen to your body and figure out what works for you and your goals.

great book for an open minded person

it's a easy going book that talks about how the body responds to fasts and diets and how some hormone responses work. I wish it was a little clearer about what foods he recommends and I am usually pretty suspect when the person selling the book is also selling products related to it. But he is upfront that you don't need to buy his products to achieve the benefits of fasting in the methods he suggests. All in all I enjoyed his book and have successfully done a fast since listening to the book.

Well worth it - motivated and hopeful to jump in.

Great audiobook. Read by the author and it’s a great listen. A couple chapters in and I decided to start an intermittent fast and kick start ketosis again. Mainly the book has inspired hope in me and challenged me to engage my health journey again. It explains why things are the way they are and how they can change. So, day two of intermittent fasting and ketosis today and I’m not even halfway through the book. Thanks!

Tried 3 days after listening to this book

I went on 3 days fast after listening to this book. I searched for some more information later as I’m a female and I need to consider my cycle needs. I think of my 3 days fast as a success, some of the hacks from this book have helped me during the worst times. I would say 3 days fasting is a reset button for me so I’m glad I did it and I feel the great positive difference.

Wow. Great job on this one Dave!

Dave did a great job on this one. Everything you need to know and want to know. You don't know what you don't know but this hits so many topics regarding fasting. It is a manual for a how to and the women's specific chapter was great for my wife, we had no idea on the differences in the fast abilities. It just did not occur to us. Great job Daver.

Dave wrote a great book if you're looking for the essential, not overly complicated science, lots of anecdotes, and observations from personal experience and observations. Love it.

Another fantastic book by Dave Asprey. It’s great how he breaks down the process of the mental game towards fasting and how we can all overcome it.
So much information and new ideas about how to tweak your diet and lifestyle for the better.
