I struggled to finish this. there were moments that did draw me back in, but it was few and far between. I almost DNF this, but decided to get through it since I paid. Thank Goodness for 2x speed play.

Very convoluted, story seems to focus more on bad guy Russians other than the creatures that the story is SUPPOSED to be about. Characters are boring. I believe it would be much better with a better narrator. Difficult to listen to mispronounced scientific descriptions/names.
Def not Steve Alten level of writing.
