It was good

I enjoyed the book for the most part. I feel like the female main character was a little too innocent. For someone who was on the streets and was able to read all the books in the library, she doesn’t know anything about anything. She should at least have a minimal amount of street smarts. Besides that, I enjoyed the story and look forward to listening to the next one.

Can't seem to stop listening.

Love it! A real 'page-turner'! Really looking enjoyed the narrators! Female narrator had a slightly different tone for different characters and she kept that consistent, so I could tell who was talking before reading "so-and-so said".

Biggest downside is that she’s potentially 16! Story is not bad

This story would be so much better if she wasn’t potentially 16 years old! (Spoiler she may be older as she was homeless and started counting her summers) I’m only getting through this because I’m imagining her as being older.
Why must writers make the lead female characters so young it’s gross that a 16 year old would be in a relationship with 8 older men.
If you can get past the age the story is not bad the men are kind, respectful & unique.

My favourite book now!!!!

Im absolutely in love with this book and all the boys!:) It only took me two days to listen to it cause i couldn’t stop thinking about what would come next! I love how even though she grew up on the streets shes still innocent and the boys are able to show her love like shes never had before. For example someone brushing her hair for her. I love how to her the small things mean the world and the boys realize that too. I love the way shes sassy and playful. Not to mention how each character has quite the personality of their own.

The narration is amazing too, they have a guy speaking when its a guy’s perspective and his voice is so smooth and reflects the story very well. The girls voice is very suiting for kitty too.

I could go on and on about it but that would spoil the book so enjoyyyyy!

it was okay

I found it very cringy at times and for a girl who lived on the streets her whole life it doesn't seem believable. this almost reminds me of those very cheese hallmark movies. it's not bad enough for me not to look into the second book or to stop reading this one.

Frustrating and a lot of contradictions

Overall I found this book frustrating to listen to.
The female main character (FMC) is presented as having a hard life growing up on the streets, having hookers and other homeless as best friends. Logically, this would imply that she has some street smarts and is tough and given her best friend is a hooker, would have a basic understanding regarding sex even if she is a virgin. I.e. would not have to have one of the male characters explain to her what an orgasm is.

The FMC is also presented as having an eidetic memory and obtaining her GED at the age of 12, spending most of her time in the library reading growing up implying that she has a vast knowledge of common things, However, she is constantly presented as being really, just stupid and implements an almost toddler logic and understanding to situations.

This established the character as at least feeling very young even further cemented by the implication that she is only 16 (though it is clarified later on that she is older). The whole initial character profile just kind of had pedophile feel to me when the males get introduced.

This isn't even touching on our FMC being some sort of near prodigy in every activity she tries for the first time. I like reading fantasy, but the logic has to fit in the world that is created.

The female narration was fine, the male narration was okay though sometimes difficult to follow as there was not a lot of tone variation when he switched between the male characters.

Not my cup of tea at all.

Not my cup of tea at all.

Crystal the only good thing about the This book was the narrating.
They could have done so much better with the storyline and the characters.
I get that werewolves or wolves they change into humans are not real so a story can be whatever it wants to be. And I suppose the story is not half bad.
About a young girl Who is left in a dumpster that realizes that she kind of has a purpose in the world.

You could’ve done a bazillion things with that kind of story. And I suppose it could’ve been better if the characters weren’t such idiots. I did not like the character Kitten. She was a self-righteous bitch as far as I was concerned. And her 8 alphas, might have been strong in muscles but weak as a mouse in their brains. They were a bunch of crybaby wolf babies. They needed to grow up just as kitten needed to grow up. I’ve wanted to cut her throat all the way through all three books. Like I said she was self righteous. The woman was either really smart or dumb as a post. Considering she was brought up on the street you would think she would’ve had more StreetSmarts than she did.

Personally I thought that was way too much sex in this series. I wanted more action and not in the bed. I’m all for romance and a little bit of sex and romance in a story.

She had everyone fooled that she was sweet and innocent. She was dumb and ignorant.

I decided to write this review after I listen to all three. I was hoping it would get better and it did not. There wasn’t even a time where I thought the characters would grow and be smarter. For lack of a better word.

I’m so glad I did not have to pay for these as I would’ve asked for my money back.

Like I said the only good thing about this book was the narrating. Athena and Cooper were very good.

It was okay

It was an okay story. The characters were alright, although it was hard to determine who was talking when the male voice actor was reading. He kept mostly the same tone for all of them.
