About this listen
What is it like for a small flap-eared goblin herbalist to play the role of the Dark Sovereign, the main antagonist for Boundless Realm's hundreds of millions of players? What is it like to find one's self the standard bearer for an army of man-eating giants, cyclops, skeletons, ghosts, and other hellspawn, who don't give a damn about their modest little ruler?
Our hero didn't desire such an unenviable fate, but there is no way back now. He'll just have to tighten the straps and play the ghastly overlord to the innumerable hordes that now threaten all Boundless Realm. But the longer our hero plays, the better he understands that this world is much more complicated than it seems at first glance and he is just a pawn in someone else's game. And lots of things depend on whether he can figure all of it out in the short time he has left, including his own life.

so sad it's over
This was a seriously great series. I'm sad that it doesn't continue on but it had a good ending so that's all I can really ask for.

definitely rushed...but I'll take it
I felt like the final battle was rushed to no end ...I mean come on be puts on the glorious legendary regalia and we dont get to hear about it in action...tsk tsk sad! and what happened with the war? wolf shows up and everyone just goes home? I mean I get it he is super OP with that set and all but damn too much was left out.
however I'm a sucker for a happy ending guess all good things come to an end this series was amazing and I am looking forward to more work by this author! thank you for a wonderful bright and imaginative story this has made top 5 litrpg for me!

Damn good.
This last book was a bit rushed and maybe could have had a whole book or two added into it. However this dark herbalist series was overall just amazing. I feel it was rushed cause I’m greedy and just want to bask in this story World longer. I will partake in your other works M. Atamanov! I will also recommend this series to people who are into Lit RPG.

A great serie that worth listening! The finale was a bit rushed to my taste, but everything else (performance and story) were really great!! Thank you for this interesting universe!

Was this just a summary of the story???
I absolutely loved the rest of this series but this book was a gigantic disappointment.
(Spoilers follow)
No details, no real action, it read like a summary or a book report compared to the rest of the series!
Personality changes in characters were also ridiculous in this book. Timothy suddenly becomes a giant, domineering, misogynist and takes over from Kira to try to take over her family business? Without asking her advice? And she meekly lets him? And their marriage? What was that? Their whole relationship development was basically one date and then some problems and fights and then they are married? Also, Valeria has a potentially evil boyfriend but then just decides to stop playing the game right after getting the vr pod. The whole fourth book was a mess.
The first three books were great which makes this one all the more of a shame.
