Not going to finish.

I lost interest when Izzy left. I can't relate to to a man so dumb as to turn down the hard fought relationship and chemistry he had with Izzy. They built a business, house, and life together and he just tosses her aside because he can't have some self control and discipline over his heart? Weak sauce. To many, I included, love is a choice that precedes our emotional investments. People lead purely by emotions are tossed every way the wind blows.

Many people didn't like this book, I loved it. It was very well written and I loved the triangle. I think people felt that Izzy deserved to be his number one. Thing is she still loved her late hubs and admitted as much. So I think her choice to leave was the right one.

Delivery (performance) was great.

Narrators were amazing.
I'm not sure how to say the rest without spoiling for others. It needs to be said so where can I say it without ruining the story for others?🙂

Power of first ❤️

So glad I didn’t go to the reviews first! I really enjoyed this story and stayed up till 2am to hear the ending. I’m a sucker for a 2nd chance with your first love so loved the ending. I Hope Izzy gets her own book, she deserves love! Epilogue was fantastic!! Off to listen to Beau’s book which I initially thought was out of order in the series!

Intense

The drama continues with with a book that can not be not continuously listened to. The angst, pain, suffering and love are palpable. Highly recommend the whole series. The narrators are perfect for their parts, make you feel a part of the story. 15⭐️👏👏👏

Could not finish...

So far I have loved all of the other books in the series, but I could not finish this book. I did not like the love triangle, which also wasn't mentioned in the description of the book, and I actually enjoyed Isabel's character more, and thought that he should have been with her. I also didn't like Madison's character in taking her child from the only home she's ever known, I felt it was very selfish. she was also very two-faced when she introduced him to her child but didn't want her ex to introduce his new girlfriend. Who knows, maybe that feeling would have changed later in the book but I could not finish it.

Painfully Disappointed

Painfully disappointing, I had to push just to get this book finished. There were so many times I wanted to just close the book down. Because Hunter is as dumb as a post. And Madison is so manipulative. And Izzy is too good for the whole town.

The narration was excellent.

The story was well written.

But the story totally went in the wrong direction. I liked the endings of these books. EXCEPT this ending.

Izzy and Madison.
One is perfect for him, she has so much in common and so connected.
One left for no reason and wants him back after 10+ years. Because her life is falling apart. You made your bed, now sleep in it.

Men are stupid sometimes.

Let’s just say I was very disappointed with this ending. But sometimes you do get the wrong ending.
