Loved his voice. Didn't like her inflections.

Only complaint I have is the deep ups and downs that the female narrator had. The ups got annoying and took away from the intense scenes. Overall really great read, though.

Steam with substance

I enjoyed this romance novel. Lots of twists and turns. Good luck putting it down once you get half way through.

A Heartfelt Brew: Fix by Molly McAdams

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐✨
Heat Level: 🔥🔥
📚E-BOOK📚&🎧AUDIO🎧

As a newcomer to Molly McAdams' work, I was pleasantly surprised to dive into "Fix," the inaugural installment of her Brewed Series. Narrated by the captivating voices of Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke, this audiobook had been beckoning from my library for some time, largely due to Clarke's magnetic presence behind the mic.

The narrative centers around Sawyer Dixon and Rae Jacobs, whose journey is tumultuous, yet ultimately rewarding. McAdams skillfully navigates their emotional complexities, crafting a tale that's both stirring and chaotic. Despite their daunting struggles and the secrets, they harbor, Sawyer and Rae valiantly pursue their shot at happiness, illustrating that worthwhile love is often hard-fought.

While I found myself invested in their story, there were moments where the pacing seemed to falter, causing certain segments to drag. Nonetheless, the overarching plot remained intriguing, peppered with passion that managed to stir my emotions.

Rae's entrance into Sawyer's life is marked by a simple yet audacious demand: don't fall in love with her. What follows is a captivating exploration of love, vulnerabilities, and the unraveling of tightly held secrets. As their bond deepens, Sawyer finds himself confronted with feelings he never anticipated, challenging his steadfast commitment to avoiding love.

Intriguing and passionate, "Fix" is a commendable start to the Brewed Series. McAdams delivers a tale that's both heartwarming and tumultuous, proving that love often defies expectations. While not without its pacing issues, the magnetic narration and compelling storyline make this audiobook a worthy addition to any romance aficionado's collection.

Worth a listen, lots of angst and drama but I did enjoy it

Fix written by Molly McAdams
Narrated by Erin Mallon & Jason Clarke

This is my first Molly McAdams book and I feel my choice of listening
As opposed to reading gave me a much better understanding of Sawyer Dixon and Rae Jacobs.

Rae has run through her entire adult life from city to city for a whole boatload of reasons. Her life from childhood to now has left her unable to deal with relationships and those who claim to be her family. Well they were family of the worst kind. Having run again from a relationship ending up in a Bed & Breakfast tired in all ways but with a mission.

Not knowing that the room was rented out, town handy man Sawyer Dixon is more than surprised when the bathroom door opens and out walks Rae towel and yup towel. Apologies, looks, throat clearing and a slightly pissed off Rae is the beginning of who they become. It’s a battle as Sawyer also comes with some very heavy baggage from his past.

Narrators Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon do an amazing job with these two characters. Not the easiest characters to portray but they bring them to life and in doing that give listeners a better understanding of why these two people are the way they are now at this moment.

The story itself felt a bit “over dramatic” at times but the narrators got me through it and I’m felt it had been time well spent listening when the book ended.

Loved it!!!

This story had everything to make a great story. This is very much a "Two wrongs don't make a right.... but can they?" story.
Can't wait to see how this series continues!!!

Narration was great. Storyline is definitely something that can happen. Loved it. Well worth the time.

This story wasn’t for me 🥺

I gave this a 4 out of 5. At times I struggled to listen. I don’t know if it’s bc of the narrators. but, I lost interest many times, and skip chapters

Narration spot on

It’s a novel, it’s life on steroids but my heart broke for the characters and their pasts that are gradually revealed throughout the book. Enjoyed

It’s okay

I found the female lead kind of annoying and dramatic, she wasn’t super likeable in my mind. The story was pretty good. But the female lead kind of ruined it for me
