About this listen
THE MUST-HEAR MULTIMILLION BESTSELLING MYSTERY SERIES • More dark secrets are exposed in this addictive, true-crime fueled sequel when Pip finds herself in another deadly case.
Pip is not a detective anymore.
With the help of Ravi Singh, she released a true-crime podcast about the murder case they solved together last year. The podcast has gone viral, yet Pip insists her investigating days are behind her.
But she will have to break that promise when someone she knows goes missing. Jamie Reynolds has disappeared, on the very same night the town hosted a memorial for the sixth-year anniversary of the deaths of Andie Bell and Sal Singh.
The police won't do anything about it. And if they won't look for Jamie then Pip will, uncovering more of her town's dark secrets along the way... and this time everyone is listening. But will she find him before it's too late?
And don't miss the finale, As Good as Dead!

A great sequel
Was a total page turner! Pip gets a bit chaotic in this one and I felt some leads in the book were untied. But a great listen and a great sequel! Loved it!

I love that this series features several voice actors for different characters!
I loved this book! Best one in the series so far, especially the ending! The writing made me feel like I was in the book and living out the scene. Holly did such a great job at explaining and writing a PTSD experience.

Great
Overall this was still amazing but it didn’t hit the same as the book towards the end. I loved the full cast and loved the book but the audio just hit a tad different.

Better than expected!!
Honestly the performances have lacked even in the first book because I hate when the narrator is making mouth expressions for things that are going on and especially when the woman narrator makes a manly voice for a male character. That’s why I ranked the performances low. However, the book in itself was really good the plot twists made sense and she connected the first and the second book together smartly in a way that series lack sometimes.

Very entertaining! Loved listening to the story while driving. Narrators were also fantastic, can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series :)

So good !
I didn't think I would like this one as much as the first one . The first book was amazing and with sequels I'm always worried that the author won't live up to the first instalment but wow did this surprise me !!
Pip's story gets better and better and her character just keeps getting more and more interesting
Highly recommend

Outstanding series
Heart pounding outstanding series. Don’t forget to read them all in order 1-3, Many things you forget about from the first two come up in the last, you don’t need to read the others to enjoy the plot of each, but it’s incredibly interesting to see how the three fit together like a puzzle.

Not terrible
I’m not 100% sold on the voice acting. The main narrator switching between voices sounds weird to me, especially since you hear the “real” voices when they’re recording the podcast. The main narrator doesn’t do a very good job at mimicking their real voices… but maybe I’m just being picky. I really enjoyed the first book and I enjoyed this one as well.
